With over 28 years of experience in the ICT industry, I began my career at Alcatel as a Technico-commercial engineer. Successfully introduced and developed Interactive Voice Response solutions in Mauritius. Monitored sector development and led a team of account managers at Harel Mallac Communication Ltd. Responsible for driving growth in the mobile phone business and other telecommunication products on the local market. Joined Mauritius Telecom in 1997, entrusted with driving the Payphone and Large Business Connection Unit. Made significant contributions as an Engineer by migrating magnetic cardphones to smart ones, introducing chip card technology, and enabling the use of Master and Visa credit cards on payphones. Implemented a centralized server system for remote management and introduced structured cabling for the Corporate Business segment. Transitioned into the role of Senior Account Manager for Corporate customers and later became the Head of Unit for Corporate Sales segment. Worked on major projects ranging from mobile win-backs to Data Centre solutions across various industry verticals such as Banking and Finance, Hospitality, Global Business, and Manufacturing. Also took on the role of Quality Coordinator for Enterprise Solutions, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standards. Currently part of the Marketing department, focusing on developing and growing Cloud and Security products for both B2B and B2C markets.

Main duties: Manage a team of technicians for the installation and maintenance of public phones and Fixed GSM Units across the island, Evaluate products for commercialization by the unit, Ensure stock is properly managed, Carry out survey to identify strategic locations for the installation of public phones and cabins, manage the Payphone Management System to ensure optimum performance of the park of public phones, conduct surveys and draft proposals for the installation of telephony and data cabling system
